There should be no issues with doing this, but I don't think it's officially supported. If you are having issues and need to trace for support, then please run in the normal way.
If use of this is limited to developers who want to log in to dev and prod at the same time, I can't see a problem.
This is the way I run the wrapper so I can look at the support system, and my local system at the same time. This works on v9 and v91. You just need to change the wrapper exe name for your version.
