I habe the same Problem with my brand new laptop ASUS G75vw with intel usb3 (lastest driver 1.0.8.), vmware 9.2
Host: Win 7 64 bit, Gast: Win 7 32 bit, Win Vista 32bit and Win XP
The connection for the USB device "<Device Name>" was unsuccessful.
